Plasma Sterilizer PS-140 Ver. 3 (2019)
This is the last version of our sterilizer. It is smaller in dimensions and faster than our late versions. It is more efficient and with much lower noise. It needs just a 220V/1ph electrical supply.
Implementing the process using Raspberry Pi

In order to reduce the dimensions of the device and also decrease the price of the device we put our effort to use mini-computers instead of PLCs.
We chose Raspberry Pi, because it's based on Python, which is my favorite programming language, and it is more powerful than PLCs. We tried and implemented the program on the Raspberry Pi. We tested the sub-processes of the main process individually.
This idea of changing the PLC with a Raspberry pi board and working on it, had been stopped due to the lack of time, but it was a very good experience for me.
